While reviewing the Eichstetten church records, we located information that this information is incorrect as indicated below and you may want to reconsider who this Matthias Danzeisen was that died on 23 JAN 1781 and who his parents were.
- The death recording of Matthias Danzeisen on 23 Jan 1781 in Eichstetten indicated that he was buried on 25 Jan 1781 and that he was 70 years, 2 months and 28 days old when he died. This age calculates to a birth date of 26 OCT 1710, which led us to the next record.
- The birth recording of Matthias Danzeisen born in Eichstetten on 26 Oct 1710 was to the parents of Joerg Danzeisen and Anna Ottilia Schuhmacher. This birth record fits the death of the Matthias in the above record.
- We also located a birth recording of the Matthias Danzeisen who was born in Eichstetten on 24 FEB 1711. His parents are list as Georg Danzeisen and Eva Schreyer. According to church records, it seems that he died in Eichstetten 2 years later on 30 Mar 1713.
The Eichstetten records we reviewed were on microfilms published by "Karlsruhe: Evangelische Landeskirche Baden" and are titled "Kirchenbuch, 1644-1961" (Church records 1644-1961). The authors are listed as - Evangelische Kirche Eichstetten (A. Emmendingen).
